1. Close your eyes and take 3 deep breaths.
Count to 4 as you breathe in and count to 7 as you completely empty your belly. Take more breaths until your body starts to release the stress.
2. Think of 1 person/thing for which you are truly grateful
Focus on this for 1-2 minutes and embrace all the good feelings
3. Replace a stressful item on your plate with a relaxing item
like reading, listening to music or meditating.
4. Take a walk outside
Breathe the fresh air and observe the nature that surrounds you.
5. Call a trusted friend
Tell them how you’re feeling. Be thankful you have that friend in your life.
