If you've recently been affected by one — I've been there and I empathize with you.

Especially if it's your first time, the mix of emotions hit hard:

  💔 “I was loyal — why me?”

💼 “Who am I without my title or paycheck?”

 🥹  “Am I not enough?”

🫤  “Now what? How will I pay the bills?”

😶‍🌫️ “Did that really just happen?”

These reactions are normal.

You're not broken — you're human.

Here's what I've learned coaching hundreds of professionals through this:

✨ There are productive and unproductive ways to navigate this transition.

✨ There are things you can do — and avoid — that will determine how quickly you bounce back and how aligned your next chapter will be.

I call it Pivoting with Purpose.

It starts by using this pause to look within instead of around.

Not asking “Why did this happen to me?” but instead “Why might this be happening for me?”

Because even when it doesn't feel like it, this moment can become your turning point.

In my 5-hour, virtual one-on-one Pivot with Purpose coaching program, my clients get rooted in:

💡 Their true identity and impact they're meant to have in the world

💡 What really matters and energizes them personally & professionally

💡 A vision for their ideal what's next — and a plan to get there

If you've been laid off, take a few days to breathe, regroup, and reconnect with loved ones.

And when you're ready — don't just pivot. Pivot with Purpose.
