😥 Not landing a job? How you hold the power.

I hear from my clients who are laid off or in transition that they are frustrated and discouraged.

No responses, getting rejected and wondering when you'll ever secure a job can create feelings of imposter syndrome, inadequacy and self-doubt.

You carry around a heaviness that affects your energy and motivation in everything you do.

May I please remind you at this trying time in your life that YOU still hold the power.

The boss that let you go does NOT define you and how you feel about yourself.

The recruiter who doesn't respond does NOT define you and how you feel about yourself.

The company that rejects you does NOT define you and how you feel about yourself.

Your circumstances NEVER define you and how you feel about yourself.

Only YOU define YOU and how you feel about yourself.

YOU ARE ENOUGH, JUST AS YOU ARE.

YOU HAVE GIFTS THE WORLD NEEDS.

YOU HAVE SOMETHING NO ONE ELSE CAN OFFER.

DO NOT EVER PLAY SMALL.

DO NOT PRETEND to be someone you are not, just to get them to like you.

THEY WILL BELIEVE IN YOU WHEN YOU BELIEVE IN YOU.

THEY WILL SEE YOUR WORTH WHEN YOU SEE YOUR WORTH.

THEY WILL DEFINE YOU BASED ON HOW YOU DEFINE YOU.

So let's check in. How are you feeling about yourself in this moment?

Are you having trouble believing in yourself and defining yourself in a positive light?

Try this: Ask at least 10 people who know you best what they like most about you and how you impact their life.

Look at the words they wrote everyday to remind yourself of the purpose and promise you have in the world.

Consider their words the evidence of the gift you truly are.

And keep the faith that if you BELIEVE IN YOURSELF and are patient, you will find or create the work you were meant to do.

If you want to feel more confident in yourself and to be held accountable to the life & career you really want, I will help you.
