🪹 The transition you may be quietly dreading

Last week, a group of friends gathered to reflect on the past year and set intentions for this year.

What kept surfacing was the anticipation of a dreaded transition: empty nesting.

One by one, we shared the same quiet mix of pride and unease.

✨ Our kids are growing up.

 ✨They’re leaving soon.

✨And something in us feels both full… and uncertain.

So much of our identity has been shaped around their needs — driving, volunteering, cheering, worrying, organizing, supporting.

When that chapter begins to close, a real question appears:

❓ What will fill that space?

Not just our time — but our sense of purpose, connection, and meaning.

Do you ever find yourself wondering:

❓ How can I ease into this transition?

❓ Where do I find meaning?

❓ What actually brings me joy?

If you’re approaching (or already in) this season… what concerns you most?

And if this doesn't apply to you, what life transitions are on your heart right now — relationships, career, retirement, or something else?

I’d love to hear what’s real for you.
